It started in 1979, when Curtis Gruetzmacher founded the original Gritz Towers. Three generations later, the Gruetzmacher family still builds, raises, and maintains the towers that keep this country connected — with 60 years of combined experience and the same name on every job.
Our Heritage
Tower work isn't something you learn from a book. It's taught on the steel, by the hands that came before. Three generations of our family have made that climb.
Founded the original Gritz Towers Inc. in 1979 — the man who started it all and set the standard the family still climbs to today.
Curtis's son, raised in the trade and still on the steel today as an owner/operator, carrying decades of hard-won knowledge to every job.
Destry's son, now leading Gritz Towers alongside his father — the same trade, the same name, and the same way of doing right by a customer.
